Released by LTM Publishing (LTMCD 2317), April, 2000.

Following the CD re-release of their studio back catalogue last year, cult Mancunian new wave group CRISPY AMBULANCE now return with a superb live album recorded at their reunion show in Manchester on 5th November, 1999.

Following a string of highly individual releases via the Factory and Factory Benelux labels between 1980 and 1982, CRISPY AMBULANCE disbanded, dogged still by erroneous charges of aping Joy Division. In the years since, the Crispies recorded legacy has grown in stature, with their 1981 single Live on a Hot August Night (featuring The Presence) and 1982 album The Plateau Phase rightly regarded by genre collectors as jewels in the Factory crown.

The depth of this underrated band's unique integrity and vision is further evident from this new live album, taped at the one-off Band on the Wall show in Manchester on 5th November, 1999, staged by the four original members to mark the reissue of their back catalogue. The fourteen tracks include album favourites such as Are You Ready, Federation, Travel Time and Plateau Phase, single cuts such as Deaf and a superb The Presence, and previously unheard tracks such as Say Shake, Open, Gates of Fire and Lucifer Rising, written for the second studio album but destined never to be recorded. United is a cover version of the Throbbing Gristle anthem to postal correspondence. The album also includes a hypnotic and "accidental" final track, Sound Block, produced by the group's instruments after the players left the stage.

A digital recording, produced by long-time Crispy cohort Graham Massey (Biting Tongues/808 State), Accessory After the Fact also features sleeve notes and photographs from the show. Also available are:-
