Great to hear from you. Like a ghost from the past! Bought SCISSORGUN and have been giving it heavy play. You could've just re-hashed yer old songs and got away with it. But no, no easy outs here. Yet, it still sounds like CRISPY AMBULANCE. The live disc is amazing. THANKS! PLATEAU PHASE seems like a lifetime away for me. Hell, I'm 43 years old. Have I turned into my Dad? I don't even follow music anymore! It's great to have ya back. I'll stand you all a round of drinks if I ever make it back across the pond. THANK YOU!!!

I didn't even know you boys were back together until I found Scissorgun yesterday. What an album! You split up way too soon but I'm seriously chuffed that you're back. Hope to see you in Leeds, if you're gigging, as my old T-shirt fell apart years ago and, despite now being 38, still enjoy moshing to Deaf. All the best.

Thrilled to hear that there's a new CA album forthcoming. Scissorgun was superb. As a longtime fan, I'm happy that the band is active again and is not just doing the "old geezers reunite to replay old songs" routine. Their talent is as fresh as ever.

I recently moved to West Hampstead and remarked to my girlfriend that the nearby pub once hosted Joy Division and Crispy Ambulance. I then stumbled across this website while trying find a Crispy Ambulance discography, and was delighted to see that a compilation CD of older material is available. Looking forward to the possibility of another London gig!

Any chance of you releasing the Ram Ram Kino e.p on cd? Ever? As a long time fan (since '81) I have to admit I've never even heard the RRK stuff. I have all of your other recordings. I loved Scissorgun and can't wait to hear the new record!

Loved the ICA gig - glad I finally managed to get to see the band. My favourite Factory band after Joy Division/New Order. Really looking forward to the new album. Would love the cassettes on CD and any recording from the ICA gig, PLEASE!!

Found The Plateau Phase today; very solid stuff! Also have the old 10". And the song on the Factory video is really GREAT! Hope the group will come this way some time.

Has anyone listened to Tony Wilson's audio commentary on 24-Hour Party People? He mentions CA as having the worst band name and that, despite having "some talent", he had predicted they'd never be able to survive the name. Me? I never LOVED the name, but I DO like the fact that the name repels any attempt at pre-association. It's kind of generic; a blank that can be filled in.

Yeah, apparently they're playing the ICA on May 29th, 2003 - Check (not my page, but a good one!) http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palladium/1306/crispy.htm for more details.
